Responsibilities.

  • Report routine correspondence, including filing notices, advertisements and appointment of agents
  • Manage, organize, prioritize and complete administrative tasks, especially status tasks pertaining to various steps throughout the trademark prosecution life cycle
  • Communicating and networking with fellow team members to provide support in areas of most need
Qualifications, competencies and experience.

  • Postsecondary education
  • Office Administration, Legal Assistant or Paralegal diploma would be an asset
  • 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to deal directly with clients
  • Excellent attention to detail, and is highly organized and proactive
  • Experience using MS Office and has the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fastpaced and everchanging work environment
