Responsibilities:

  • Operate sewing machine, sergers, and other equipment to sew, stitch, and hem fabric
  • Measure and cut fabric accurately to ensure proper fit and finish
  • Follow instructions by customers to alter special occasion dresses.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs

Skills:

  • Proficient in using sewing machines, sergers, and other sewing equipment
  • Strong knowledge of different fabrics and stitching techniques
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Good handeye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Strong problemsolving skills to troubleshoot issues with fabric or equipment

Note:
This job description is for a seamstress position in a retail setting.

Job Type:
Part-time

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift


 Monday
  • Friday and Must be able to work every Saturday
