We are currently accepting applications TR Leger - LINC Childminder . Under the supervision of the TR Leger Literacy Coordinator and the direction of the Lead Childminder, the LINC Childminder is responsible for the care of immigrant pre-school children in the LINC Childminding Centre. The Childminder provides support to the children of LINC adult learners attending LINC classes (early ESL learners).

Qualifications and Experience:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

Two or three years college diploma in Early Childhood Education.

Experience with pre-school age children of newcomers learning English as a second language is preferred.

Familiarity with LINC program childcare regulations is an asset.

Related employment or volunteer experience in teaching, social work or immigration services is an asset.

UCDSB requires your current and two most recent direct supervisors.

If your experience is in a day-to-day occasional capacity ensure that you list the length of time that you worked for that Supervisor and whether the assignment was casual day-to-day or in a long-term occasional capacity.

Selection Process:

Applicants selected for an interview will be invited to attend a virtual live interview via Microsoft Teams. Interviews typically include a panel of two (2) Hiring Managers.
