Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting for a Part Time, Temporary Educational Assistant 4 (EA4) for a work assignment at Preschool.

More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools.

From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values.

Hours of Work : 11.0 hrs. /week; 2.75 hrs. /day; Tuesday-Friday; Part Time, Temporary

  • Note this position is 4 mornings/week

Hourly Rate:
$20.56 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.

Start Date:
As soon as possible

Deadline for Applications:

Specific Needs/Requirements for this position:
Formal training from MacEwan University or equivalent preferred

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is an asset

Experience working with children with diverse behavior needs an asset

Experience in the use of visual supports and/or PECS an asset

Experience working with children at the early childhood level an asset

Experience working within a team, collaborative environment an asset

Applications, either written or electronic, must include documentation, which describes:
Highest level of formal education

Professional certificates, trade certificates, etc.

Courses, seminars, and specialized training

Experience related to the position

Other skills and abilities applicable to the position
