Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A ON/BC

A traditional FP&A position within the corporate team, supporting the BC regions business lines.

The role primarily focuses on the forecasting, budgeting, and planning on a quarterly basis and will operate as a key finance business partner to the BC region.

~Gathering data and information from various sources, such as financial systems, operational databases, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Analyzing and synthesizing data to generate meaningful insights and trends
Identifying and tracking key performance metrics and indicators to measure progress towards organizational goals
Preparing and presenting regular management reports that highlight financial performance, operational results, and key areas of focus
Conducting variance analysis to identify deviations from expected targets and investigate underlying causes
Providing recommendations and insights based on data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the reported data by implementing proper data validation and quality control processes.

Commence the process of mastering dashboard utilization for reporting and analysis.

Establish a working partnership and framework to analyze and communicate strategies and business unit results on a monthly basis.

Begin contribution towards process efficiency initiatives, suggesting improvements based on initial analysis and observation.

Start involvement in the year-end call for the prior year and planning for the original plan for the upcoming year.

Exposure to retail, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals is an asset.
