Omron Automation Americas is actively seeking a dynamic and strategic Account Manager / Automation Solutions Consultant for our Laval / North Montreal territory.

We are looking for an individual with a strong consultative selling mindset, adept at hunting for new business opportunities, and proficient in leveraging our cutting-edge Sysmac platform.

The Automation Sales Consultant will be tasked with leading the drive to exceed an annual Territory Sales Target, working closely with the entire OAA Sales team.

They will engage with customers on a daily basis and collaborate with Application Engineers and Product Marketing to ensure seamless execution and maximum impact.

This role is instrumental in expanding our presence across industries and market segments.

We are interested in people with a proven track record in consultative selling at an Enterprise level to Fortune 1000 OEM and End Users in Automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a customer advocate committed to enhancing the customer experience by understanding their unique objectives, pressures and challenges.
  • Drive revenue and market share growth for assigned territory– responsible for meeting or exceeding territory revenue goals.
  • Meet or exceed annual KPIs aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure accountability of the overall goals through CRM management, regular performance management meetings, and customer focused objectives identified by leadership.
  • Act as a passionate advocate for the Omron integrated automation platform, Sysmac, emphasizing the value to customers.
  • Identify and focus on customers that align with our global industry strategy.
  • Employ a consultative sales approach to a comprehensive understanding of customers' pressures, objectives, and challenges to develop and promote innovative solutions.
  • Selfdriven passion for continuous learning to expand knowledge and skills in industry trends and advancements in both general industrial automation and Omron solutions.
  • Engage with crossfunctional teams within Omron and partners to develop, propose and deploy solutions that deliver customer centric value.
  • Provide commercial leadership during the sales process to address customer needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Sales, or a similar degree. Sufficient experience that contributes to the role will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated application solutions sales experience with OEM and End User customers, or successful completion of Omron Sakura Program.
  • Sales experience with industrial automation solutions including PLC/HMI, Motion Control, Robotics, Safety, Machine Vision Systems and Components preferred.
  • Strong leader, able to drive innovation and influence a team while aligning and executing the sales strategy. Possessing a high degree of selfawareness and is capable of understanding the impacts of decisions within the organization.
  • Proactive in selfdevelopment, investing in personal growth by staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Embraces consultative solutionselling methodologies by leveraging strong interpersonal, listening, questioning, and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated selfstarter and financially driven with a personal desire to win.
  • Demonstrates a salesoriented mindset by effectively understanding customer needs and aligning them with innovative technical solutions to drive adoption and satisfaction.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 30% and spend 80% of time in the field, directly engaging with customers.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS:
Stimuler la croissance des revenus/l'acquisition de parts de marché/l'engagement client :

  • Être un défenseur des clients et s'engager à améliorer l'expérience client en comprenant leurs objectifs, pressions et défis uniques.
  • Créez et offrez une valeur maximale aux principales parties prenantes en recommandant des solutions et des services Omron pour atteindre les résultats souhaités par les clients grâce à une méthodologie de vente consultative professionnelle.
  • Stimuler la croissance des revenus et de la part de marché pour le territoire attribué – responsable d'atteindre ou de dépasser les objectifs de revenus du territoire.
  • Atteindre ou dépasser les KPI annuels alignés sur les objectifs commerciaux globaux.
  • Assurer la responsabilité des objectifs généraux grâce à la gestion CRM, à des réunions régulières de gestion des performances et aux objectifs axés sur le client identifiés par la direction.
  • Identifiez et concentrezvous sur les clients qui correspondent à notre stratégie industrielle mondiale.
  • Utiliser une approche commerciale consultative pour une compréhension globale des pressions, des objectifs et des défis des clients afin de développer et de promouvoir des solutions innovantes.
