Landscape Foreman

Paulco Landscaping is a locally founded and owned company that has served the Bow Valley for over 25 years.

We are currently looking for reliable, hard-working personnel who are keen to work outside as a team to build different landscape designs.

Prior work experience is always an added bonus but we do offer onsite training of skid-steer operations and small engine operations.

Responsibilities/ Skills:

• Learning and following safety regulations
• Clean and preparing construction sites to eliminate potential hazards
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
• Smooth or finish freshly poured cement or concrete, using floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools.
• Operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement.
• Fencing operations: Chain link, highway fencing, and temporary mesh snow fences.
• Prepping and forming concrete cribbing for sidewalks, stairs, and driveways.
• Building complex rockeries
• Operating chop saws to cut and free cement or concrete
• Planting trees and shrubs to match the project plans
• Operate skidsteer loaders, excavators, plate tampers
• Building and putting together timber and rock retaining walls
• Locate underground services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work.
• Operate equipment to demolish or remove debris or to remove snow from streets, roads, or parking lots.
• Operate excavators to pull out stumps, rip asphalt or concrete

Education Needed:

High School Diploma

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Contract length: 9 months

Salary:
From $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
