The Opportunity

  • Joining the Hematology/Oncology/Nephrology service team as a Registered Nurse (RN) under the supervision of the service Manager
  • Providing holistic, evidence-based care by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
  • Playing a key role in patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Building professional relationships and contributing to excellence in patient care
  • Promoting a culture of inquiry, discovery, and innovation in healthcare

Hours of Work

Expect a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and 11.25-hour shifts.

Your Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Nursing Program from an accredited institution
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure by the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia
  • Minimum 1 year of Pediatric experience
  • Preferred experience in Hematology/Oncology or Nephrology
  • Current CPR Level C Health Care Provider certification
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in other languages considered an asset
