We are searching for an Expeditor who enjoys team collaboration, brings positive attitude to work daily and communicates effectively with colleagues.


ROLE SUMMARY:

The Restaurant Expeditor is responsible for coordinating the communication between the kitchen and the front of the house.

The expeditor ensures that all food orders are prepared and delivered to the customer in a timely and efficient manner.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uphold the SmoQue N Bones' respected brand and create positive people experiences.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food orders
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the correct specifications
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
  • Communicate with servers and bartenders to ensure that orders are delivered to the correct table
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
  • Training new kitchen staff and expeditor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 12 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Must have a food handler's permit
  • This position requires someone who can multitask, work well under pressure, and is able to work in a fastpaced environment. The expeditor must have a strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • This is a fulltime position, evenings and weekends are required.

Salary:
$16.50-$18.00 per hour
