Our main business activities include site preparation, land development, road building, municipal sewer and water installations, golf course management, as well as landscape construction, design, maintenance, and renovation.


Role Summary
Reporting to the Superintendent, the Landscaper will ensure regular maintenance of golf course gardens and surrounding areas. This role will regularly communicate with the superintendent and turf department.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee execution of golf course landscaping program.
  • Maintain flower beds, spread topsoil, lay sod, grass, shrubs, and trees, and perform other duties to assist with the construction of landscape and related structures.
  • Weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees and perform other maintenance duties as directed by Superintendent.
  • Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides.
  • Operate and maintain utility carts, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws and other landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Communicate with Island Coastal landscaping department to ensure spring product ordering.
  • Assist in property management, including basic cleaning and repairs.
  • Adhere and support all safety requirements and quality standards set forth in the PEI Occupational Health and Safety General Regulations, PEI Occupational Health and Safety Act and Island Coastal's Safety Management System.
  • Use your experience to identify health and safety deficiencies and support Management in implementing solutions OR report to Management when required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • 1+ years experience in horticulture, landscaping, property maintenance or related field considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Available to work early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid drivers license and own transportation.
