Yoga Instructor – Part Time

We are looking for Yoga Instructors who are passionate about the practice of yoga, and inspire others to live an active lifestyle.

Reporting to the Fitness Coordinator, the Yoga Instructor is accountable for planning, implementing and facilitating safe, effective and motivating Yoga classes.

Creates and delivers safe, effective, and motivating yoga classes in an organized manner.
Performs administrative tasks to support the program i.e. monitoring participant sign-in and reporting attendance numbers.
Assists in maintaining safe facilities and equipment, and maintains cleanliness and organization in fitness spaces.
Yoga Instructor certification recognized by the Yoga Alliance or equivalent.

Minimum one year of experience instructing yoga classes and/or leadership skills and a combination of training, education and experience deemed equivalent.

Extensive knowledge of yoga sequencing, modifications, and program development.
Knowledge of industry standards as related to yoga classes.
Experience in Pre/Post Natal Yoga, Kids' Yoga, or Older Adult Yoga is an asset.
CanFitPro FIS certification and experience instructing fitness classes is an asset.
High Five Training is an asset.
09 per hour.

Hours of Work:
This is a part time non-union position that works up to 24 hours per week. The hours of work are Monday to Sunday, various shifts between 6 a.m.
