Responsibilities:

As a Pharmacist at Neighbourly Pharmacy in High Prairie, AB, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient-focused care and contributing to departmental excellence. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Determining appropriateness of drug therapy
  • Monitoring medication therapy for effectiveness and interactions
  • Counseling patients on prescriptions, OTC products, and health issues
  • Providing clinical services for eligible patients
  • Administering injections/immunizations
  • Promoting health through education on disease prevention and medication adherence
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
  • Supervising pharmacy students/provisional pharmacists
  • Adhering to pharmacy regulations
  • Continuous professional development

Requirements:
  • Licensed by the Alberta College of Pharmacy
  • Injection certification
  • Additional Prescribing Authorization preferred

Technical Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
