Reporting to the Manger of Enterprise Data Management Team, you will provide Business Systems Analysis support for the data management team's various data management activities such as Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Reporting and Analytics.


You will act as the first point of contact for CAAT's business and technology teams for their data and reporting needs and support them by gathering business requirements, creating a technical solution by collaborating with data management analysts/Data Architects, maintaining documentations such as BRD & Technical specifications documents, testing and change management.


You will ensure all Enterprise Data Management systems, processes, reports, and dashboards are functional, updated timely and conform to CAAT's IT standards and procedures and assist the team in production release cycles.


You will also be responsible to support the manager in the project's intake for all Enterprise Data Management requests through the Service Now platform.

This will involve providing support for all phases of data management related projects. Your expert opinions and ideas throughout the project will be encouraged and solicited.

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

Skills:

  • Data Analysis fundamentals and advanced knowledge in SQL querywriting.
  • Experience working with reporting and visualization tools such as PowerBI
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Strong Documentation Experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capacity to learn and adapt to new tools, processes, and business practices.
  • Hands on experience in testing and troubleshooting abilities.
  • General knowledge of Smartsheet for project management would be an asset.
  • Ability to analyze data and present the analysis to the team members in a format that facilitates problemsolving and decisionmaking.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask and deal with shifting priorities.
  • Attention to details, good planning skills, innovating through analysis and ideas to effectively relate data to various tasks.
  • Highly organized, enthusiastic, and quick learner with prioritization skills.
  • Familiarity with key service and delivery frameworks such as: Agile and Scrum, DevOps, ITIL
  • Nice to have: Scripting especially Python.

Experience:

  • You have a high degree of IT systems knowledge, business functions, are an impressive communicator, and are obsessive about optimizing processes.
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in progressive IT Business Analysis roles.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Enterprise technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, etc.)
  • Experience with Visio, Navvia or similar diagraming/workflow tools would be an asset.
  • An out of the box thinker, adept at learning new and emerging technologies easily.
  • Able to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines effectively and efficiently.
  • Postsecondary degree or diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Must have experience in an enterprise Windowsbased environment.
  • Experience with the Pension Systems/industry is an asset.
  • Experience following ITIL standards, such as Incident Response and Change Management.
  • Experience working on an Agile product team is an asset.
  • Solid track record of going aboveandbeyond to deliver new ideas and initiatives and proactively solving technical and business problems.
