WHAT YOU'LL DO

As the Food Service Director, you'll be in charge of multiple units across Thompson Rivers University campus. Your main focus will be on leading and developing your team to deliver top-notch services consistently.

Job Responsibilities
  • Be a key senior leader advocating for both the client and Aramark
  • Ensure a safety-focused culture in all operations
  • Build a management team focused on innovation, quality, and operational excellence
  • Drive revenue growth through exceptional quality and targeted marketing strategies
  • Support client and stakeholder initiatives
  • Oversee sustainability goals within food services
  • Manage client premises and facilities professionally
  • Develop strategic operational plans aligned with the client's objectives
  • Establish efficient food production systems and procedures
  • Monitor expenses and financial reports closely
  • Lead front line managers' training and development
Qualifications
  • - Minimum 5 years of experience leading large teams in restaurant, retail, and catering services
  • - Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Hospitality Management preferred
  • - Advanced food safety certification
  • - Strong financial acumen regarding food and labor costs
  • - Proven ability in analyzing financial statements and reports
  • - Experience in recruiting, developing, and retaining diverse teams
  • - Ability to adapt to changing demands and maintain a positive customer focus
  • - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • - Proficiency in regulatory issues and computer software
  • - Ability to handle physical demands and fast-paced environments
