We're looking for a new environmental technician, (you will complete mould removal, asbestos abatement, odour control, etc.), with proven track record of working hard and a willingness to learn new skills.

Duties include

• Working in confined spaces like crawl spaces/attics.
• Level 1, 2 and 3 mould abatement.
• Level 1, 2 and 3 asbestos abatement.
• Trauma/Biohazard abatement.
• Attend emergency jobs including water and sewer losses, fire damaged properties and other emergencies from timetotime as scheduled
• Assist with tear out and demolition of all damaged finishes.
• Assist with documenting and cleaning contents
• Other duties as assigned.

You will need to demonstrate:

• A proven track record of reliability, honesty and hard work
• Basic technical /computer skills
• Previous experience in the restoration or abatement field will be preferred
• Previous experience in the restoration field including water extraction and water damage, residential or commercial emergency cleaning and general restoration experience will be beneficial
• Proven ability to work on your own OR to lead a crew
• Ability to work a limited rotation of after hours and "on call" shifts
• A clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Physically capable to handle the job as outlined
• Be capable of lifting heavy objects daily
• More than 50lb.
• A positive, 'cando" attitude
• IICRC Certification will be preferred and eventually required

Compensation

• 18$24$ depending on experience
