**Position purpose**:
The Operations Performance Team Lead is responsible for managing functional operations systems and programs, supporting the key areas of the Operations Excellence program and maintaining oversight over controls in all operational requirements.

**Major/Key Accountabilities**:

- Manage the national inventory control process ensuring all plant locations are in compliance.
- Provide support to the National Operations Excellence program, including document control is reviewed and up to date.
- Oversight and support to plant administration to ensure compliance to established policies
- Manage the updates and resources for system requirements and training, (SAP Gatekeeping and set up, Kronos, Blueview Schedule setup for SC's)
- Directly support systems change projects impacting Operations processes (ESP, FDE, Kronos)
- Manage tear down and reclaim performance tracking and controls, and reporting.
- Manage Sundry invoice program end to end, including plant equipment rental, penalties tracking.
- Continually review operations activities and maintain initiative tracking nationally.
- Support Safety improvements (Zero Harm) across the business
- Ensure the consistent execution of all SOPs throughout the plant network and in accordance with

**CHEP Canada and, Global Supply Chain**
- Support best operational practices and cost efficiencies across the Plant while maintaining critical quality and raw material utilization standards that are necessary to maintain customer satisfaction and Plant profitability.
- Manage raw material expediting and inventory balancing and accuracy nationally.
- Implement and manage Lean opportunities to effectively eliminate waste
- Drive efficiencies in asset utilization through managing the national storage plan, scheduling, and cost while meeting customer expectations.

**Qualification**:

- Bachelors in Operations/Supply Chain or related field
- Six Sigma/Lean certification preferred

**Experience**:

- 3+ years in a supply chain supervisory role in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with SAP, Kronos, Blueview systems, Document controls
- Strong customer focus orientation
- Expert people management capability including non-exempt production workforce
- Demonstrated success in delivering strong employee relations
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience managing safety performance and programmes
- Understanding of supply chain practices and metrics

Principales responsabilités:

- Examiner continuellement les activités opérationnelles et maintenir le suivi des initiatives à l'échelle nationale.
- Soutenir les améliorations de la sécurité (Zéro mal) dans l'ensemble de l'entreprise
- Assurer l'exécution uniforme de toutes les PON dans l'ensemble du réseau d'usines et conformément aux POIC canada et à la chaîne d'approvisionnement mondiale
- Soutenir les meilleures pratiques opérationnelles et la rentabilité des coûts dans l'ensemble de l'usine tout en maintenant des normes critiques de qualité et d'utilisation des matières premières qui sont nécessaires pour maintenir la satisfaction de la clientèle et la rentabilité de l'usine.
- Gérer l'accélération des matières premières et l'équilibrage et l'exactitude des stocks à l'échelle nationale.
- Mettre en œuvre et gérer des opportunités Lean pour éliminer efficacement les déchets
- Générer des gains d'efficacité dans l'utilisation des actifs grâce à la gestion du plan de stockage national, de la planification et des coûts tout en répondant aux attentes des clients.
