London Regional Veterinary Emergency & Referral Hospital is welcoming a Veterinary Technician, RVT to join our team of skilled veterinary professionals. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training This is a great opportunity for RVTs to gain advanced knowledge in anesthesia and enjoy an independent working environment.

Our RVT's manage our very own patients and are able to advocate for the treatments we want to provide for them. We have an AMAZING group of emergency veterinarians, and world class veterinary specialists that respect our opinions and most importantly appreciate their technicians Our Veterinarians are happy to answer our questions to enhance our learning and are quite hands off allowing the RVTs the opportunity to use their skills.

  • Have completed a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program.
  • 2 years minimum experience working in an active veterinary hospital
  • Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery.
  • Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records.
  • Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude, including the ability to ask clarifying questions to facilitate effective solution-finding
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents.
  • Passion to learn more within the role.
  • A love for all companion animals

Schedule: weekday shifts with rotating on call shifts
