Our live-in PSW's are scheduled 7 days in the clients home and 7 days off. You will have your own private bedroom and bathroom. You cannot live there all the time and another residence (homebase) in the area will be needed. We appreciate those who have life experience, so do not let your age keep you from applying. You will be supported by our Care Manager whose goal it is to help you be successful. This current position is in Collingwood.

Your typical day:

  • Personal services include toileting, bathing, catheter care and grooming
  • Provide light housekeeping
  • Run errands or provide transportation if needed.
  • Assist with medications
  • Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs
  • Provide companionship and conversation
  • Follow care plan and complete documentation

Must haves:

  • Demonstrated working experience with the elderly, knowledgeable with respect to their needs
  • Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with residents, families, and visitors

  • Proof of valid Covid19 vaccines
  • Reliable vehicle, insurance and a valid driver's license.
