Muskoka Riverside Restaurant is seeking friendly and experienced Servers to join our team. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This position offers an opportunity to thrive in a dynamic restaurant environment and earn competitive pay plus tips.

Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
● Greet and welcome guests warmly, providing a friendly and attentive dining experience.
● Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items and beverage options.
● Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to inquiries, requests, and special requests.

2. Order Taking and Service:
● Take food and beverage orders accurately, entering orders into the POS system and communicating special requests to the kitchen and bar.
● Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
● Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, offering refills, additional items, or assistance as needed.

3. Smart Serve Compliance:
● Possess a valid Smart Serve certification to serve alcohol responsibly and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
● Verify the age of guests and refuse service to individuals who are underage or intoxicated, following established protocols and guidelines.

4. Table Maintenance:
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, including clearing dirty dishes, wiping surfaces, and resetting tables for the next guests.
● Monitor and replenish condiments, utensils, and napkins as needed to enhance the dining experience.

5. Team Collaboration:
● Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate orders, ensure timely service, and maintain a smooth flow of operations.
● Communicate effectively with team members and management to address guest feedback, resolve issues, and support a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
● Minimum 1 year experience as a Server in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
● Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
● Smart Serve certification required for serving alcohol.
● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay Rate:
$17 per hour plus tips
