Project Manager

Position Type: 6-month contract, Hybrid 3 days a week onsite
Compensation: $85-95/hour
Overview:
The Project Manager, reporting to the Senior Project Manager, will lead the delivery of multiple impactful projects, the business objectives are completed within scope, cost, schedule, change, and quality parameters. This role requires strategic collaboration with key stakeholders, peers, and the project team to drive and support optimal project delivery as the organization evolves and matures its practices.
Responsibilities:
Guide project teams and stakeholders through the project lifecycle following the company Delivery Framework.Create and implement annual and multi-year program plans and budgets, including resourcing plans.Collaborate with business sponsors and delivery partners to set project priorities, objectives, scope, and deliverables in line with business goals.Maintain effective communication to ensure stakeholders are aware of and understand delivery progress, meeting expectations and fostering strong relationships.Apply Project Management methodology and standards appropriately to projects, coaching and guiding teams on effective processes and methodologies.Enhance the Enterprise Project Management Office by improving methodologies, promoting decision-making at appropriate levels, encouraging efficient teamwork, and ensuring compliance with corporate internal controls.
Requirements:Five years of experience as a Project Manager working collaboratively within cross-functional teams.Strong financial management skills, including estimation, budget tracking, forecasting, and accruals.Proven expertise in organizational change management.Experience delivering complex projects involving multiple departments, vendors, and external partners, integrating various tools and technologies.Proficient in applying project management methodologies.Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships and partnerships with business leaders, peers, clients, and team members, working transparently and cooperatively with cross-functional teams, engaging all relevant stakeholders.Challenge the status quo with creativity, determination, and a drive to succeed.Demonstrates change leadership by guiding the organization through transitions while maintaining focus, intensity, and team cohesion.Advanced communication, negotiation, influencing, and facilitation skills; able to create win-win outcomes, gain executive-level support, and build cooperation and consensus across the business; capable of collaborating and leading across a matrix organization to execute strategies, influence change, and deliver results.Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Project Online.The successful candidate will have technical experience and/or knowledge of:
- Managing relationships with third-party vendors.
- Commercial Off the Shelf Package (COTS) implementation experience.
- Stakeholder management/RAID management.
Nice to have:
• Experience in financial services.
• PMP – Project Management certification
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt
