Based in Newmarket, Ontario, our team of professionals is dedicated to delivering exceptional results while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite installations of signage, including but not limited to exterior signs, interior signs, channel letters, illuminated signage, and architectural elements.
- Review work orders and installation plans to determine materials, equipment, and techniques required for each project.
- Prepare installation sites by measuring, marking, and securing mounting surfaces.
- Safely operate hand and power tools, lifting equipment, and other machinery necessary for installation.
- Install signage using appropriate methods and techniques, ensuring alignment, levelness, and structural integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during installation, such as electrical wiring or structural challenges.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, designers, and clients to coordinate installation schedules and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain work vehicle, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient installation of signs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sign installation or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting installation plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools used in construction and installation.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
