Analog Mixed Signal Circuit Design Intern
Synopsys' Security IP solutions include a range of cryptography cores, security protocol
accelerators and processors, embedded security IP modules, secure boot and cryptography
middleware as well as content protection IP for integration into system-on-chips. These
integrated solutions enable the most efficient silicon design and highest level of security to
help prevent a wide range of evolving threats in connected devices such as theft, tampering,
side channels attacks, malware and data breaches.

Starting May 2024, this 16-month, full-time internship will be with our Solutions Group in our Nepean office.

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative analog & mixedsignal engineering intern with
- strong theoretical and practical background in circuit design. You will be working as part of a highly
- experienced mixed-signal design team and you will be involved in verifying current and next
- generation DDR products. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work with an expert team
- of digital and mixed signal engineers responsible for delivering high-end mixed-signal designs.

Key Qualifications

  • Familiarity with UNIX operating systems
  • Familiarity with one or more analog/mixedsignal IC design CAD packages
  • Experience with analog circuit simulator(s)
  • Experience with analog IC layout tools
  • Scripting language(s): PERL, python, TCL
  • Ability to analyze and organize data
  • Organizational skills essential
  • Enrolled 2nd or 3rd year Electrical Engineering students

Key Responsibilities

  • Runs block level circuit simulations
  • Works with layout team in implement circuit designs
  • Analyzes and summarize simulation results
  • Writes circuit test benches
  • Codes scripts to manipulate data and audit
  • Develops release collateral, including behavioral and timing views of custom circuits
