Eds Auto Salvage is the largest Auto Wrecker in northern Alberta. We are currently looking for a dedicated, punctual, detail oriented individual to join our service department.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Schedule all mechanical service work for the shop. This includes a large volume of telephone calls and walk in customers.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to our customers. Provide accurate and timely quotes for a variety of automotive parts and repairs. Obtain approval for quotes.
  • Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.
  • Liaise between customers, mechanics and inventory personnel to ensure the completion of work in an accurate and timely fashion. Distribution and allocation of work to technicians.
  • Exceptional follow up communication with customers on the status of their vehicle.
  • Handle challenging situations in a professional, courteous manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical aptitude and understanding of vehicle operation and mechanical systems.
  • Previous service advising considered an asset.
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a fast paced environment.
  • Motivated team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer.
  • Must be organized and able to multitask in stressful situations.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be fluent in all aspects of the English language, reading and writing.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • NO WEEKEND WORK. This is a Monday to Friday position from 8:30 to 5:30.

Salary will be determined based on experience.

Salary:
$25.00-$40.00 per hour
