Senior Environmental Technologist

The Senior Project Technologist position is ideal for someone looking for career advancement and professional growth, including an opportunity to develop into a Project Manager role. The ideal candidate will be familiar with relevant Ontario regulations and have at least 3-5 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.

Your Role at Pinchin

Environmental drilling and test pitting for stratigraphic and hydrogeological data collectionWater quality and quantity testing for site condition assessments and remedial option developmentAssist in the training and mentorship of junior/intermediate project technologistsSupport coordination and logistics for large-scale environmental field programsPrepare and edit technical reportsLiaise with clients, subcontractors, and other potentially involved stakeholdersDevelop and maintain positive client relationships

What you bring to the Pinchin team

Post-Secondary Education, Diploma in Environmental Science considered an asset3-5 years of related experience, preferably in OntarioExcellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solveStrong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently Ability to thrive in a team environmentWorking knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and OutlookAvailability to travel for work when requiredAvailability to work outside core business hoursValid driver's license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
