Description:

Located out of our Heartland Petrochemical Complex, the individual in the
SCM Student role will report to Manager, SCM - Heartland.

As a key member of the Heartland team, the SCM Student will work towards achieving positive outcomes that align with the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of the Supply Chain Management team.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams operations and maintenance to name a few, to ensure their orders are delivered in a timely fashion
• Involved in set up of supplier prequalifications
• Generate RFQ's in accordance with IPL's SCM standard procedures and policies in collaboration with maintenance and other stakeholders
• Issue purchase orders for replenishment of inventory generated from material requirements planned (MRP)
• Assist in purchase order close out

Education, Skills and Experience:

• Enrollment in 2nd or 3rd year of studies in Bachelor's Degree with Field of

Study Preferred:
Business; with focus on Supply Chain Management

• Enthusiasm and desire to learn and be a team player
• Strong knowledge in MS Suite
• Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Knowhow with Excel formulas and functions consider an asset

9*80 work schedule or Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
4 month term (May - August 2024)
