Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Proposal Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our Sales Team by developing and managing proposals for various projects and contracts.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the submission of accurate and competitive proposals to the Sales Team.

Consult with the Sales Team to gain a deep and/or technical understanding of the customers' drawings, bill of materials, requirements, and specifications.

Gather information from Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing Teams to tailor proposals, aligning them with the clients' RFP specifications.

Source vendor quotes, conduct thorough pricing analysis including evaluations of minimum quantity and lead time, while maintaining records of preferred and secondary suppliers.

Analyze pricing and profitability metrics across multiple suppliers to optimize revenue and ensure competitive and compliant proposals, staying informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.

Prepare and format proposal documents meticulously, integrating technical specifications and relevant information, ensuring compliance with the request for proposal requirements.

Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the proposal development process, including automation of repetitive tasks, standardization of templates, and enhancement of collaboration tools.

Provide guidance and training to junior team members on quotation best practices, pricing strategies, and tools utilization.
Actively participate in the handoff meetings to ensure effective transfer of projects to relevant operational departments.
Post secondary education in Business, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
~3 to 5 years' experience in Sales, Customer Service, or similar roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
~ Experience with manufacturing of electronics, cable, connectors, electrical components (asset).
~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Power BI experience (asset).
~ Experience using ERP systems, VISUAL (asset).
~ Bilingualism (English/French).
