Treatment Module Leader, Radiation Therapy Lead - Regional Professional Practice Leader

The Treatment Module Leader - Radiation Therapy Lead is responsible for the administrative, clinical and research activities of the module, and for ensuring that all activities meet provincial program and professional standards.


What you'll do

  • Provide leadership and supervision to all staff by team building, mentoring and coaching and assisting in conflict resolution and problem solving.
  • Accountable for the process of care within the module by setting and maintaining established standards and operating within budgetary limits.
  • Accept accountability for Radiation Therapy practice for all staff.
  • Work with other module leaders and communicate effectively with all team members to provide continuity of care within and across the modules.
  • Promote knowledge generation and clinical research activities.

What you bring

Qualifications:

  • Completion of post graduate program in Radiation Therapy or an equivalent combination of education.
  • Completion of management program.
  • Five (5) years recent related experience at a supervisory level or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable to the Agency.
  • Canadian Association for Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) Certified.

  • Understanding of process management and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to organize work, determine priorities, work independently and perform under pressure while making frequent independent decisions.
  • Interpersonal skills, including ability to function as a team leader, communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, listen actively, provide effective constructive feedback, manage confrontation and conflict, act as a coach, mentor and team builder.
  • Demonstrate skills in CPR techniques.
  • Awareness of and commitment to learning and understanding the Truth & Reconciliation Commission's 94 Calls to Action (2015), In Plain Sight Report (2020), BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019), and other related reports.
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act
  • Knowledge of social, economic, political and historical realities impacting indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and antiracism and accompanying reports (BC DRIPA, TRC, etc.).

Job Type:
Temporary, Full-Time (Until October 31,2025)***
Wage:$53.31-$66.61 per hour.
