SUMMARY:
Driving company truck from main location to job sites and suppliers. Pick up and deliver materials and supplies. Load and unload materials and supplies.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Pick up, deliver, load and unload materials and supplies between vendors, company warehouse and job sites.
  • Ensure all pickups and deliveries are in the proper quantity and type of material.
  • Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries.
  • Accurately complete all required forms, receipts, and documents.
  • Perform safety inspection of company trucks.
  • Ensure loads are properly and safely secured.
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as cleaning and fluid checks.
  • Promptly report any mechanical problems on trucks.
  • Operate forklift in company warehouse.
  • Operate mobile crane in safely and accident free.
  • Maintain positive customer service relations with vendors and customers.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Move materials and supplies in warehouse as directed.
  • Perform cleanup of warehouse, yard and help others.
EDUCATION/SKILLS

REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid, current and clean driver's license/record.
  • Valid Class 5 with Air Break license and driver's abstract.
  • Certification A in crane operation.
  • Ability to safely operate company trucks, while seated for possible long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds of materials and supplies.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime.
  • Ability to maintain positive customer service relations.
  • Good writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 1 year commercial truck driving experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of mobile crane operating experience.
  • Experience in the construction industry.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None.

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT:
Primarily warehouse and outdoors environment with extensive day travel possible throughout state.

WORK SCHEDULE:


Eight (8) to ten (10) hour workdays Monday through Friday of each week, with potential for overtime and Saturday work.

$30.00 per hour
