As a trusted partner and subject matter expert, you will collaborate with various business units to ensure our stores are optimized and supported. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in refining policies and procedures, coordinating support for new stores and renovations, and contributing to our Talent Development Program.
This role involves significant travel, with 3-4 days weekly in stores, including some overnight stays.

Process Improvement Specialist, Key Accountabilities:
Leads implementation of new initiatives to ensure successful deployment. Analyzes results and makes corrections as needed. Gathers feedback from various stakeholders that leads to reinforcement or change of policies and procedures in the GT system. Is a trusted partner with other business units (Stores, Home Office, GTW) as the subject matter expert for Operational processes ensuring store vantage point is considered in all decisions. Ensures the appropriate level of support is provided in the Training and development of Operational positions in store and for the Talent Development Program. Coordinates and ensures appropriate support for all operational tasks and processes for new stores and renovations. Analyzes and makes recommendations for operational tactics (e.g., Tobacco shrink, etc.). Be a Giant Tiger advocate and community leader.Process Improvement Specialist, Required Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum High School Diploma. Relevant work experience (ie supervisory experience in retail environment) and knowledge of retail business processes. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills. Ability to communicate virtually on a regular basis, and participate in calls via MS Teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Bilingual (expert level English and French). Willingness and ability to travel 60-80% of the time, including some overnight stays. Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.-
