  • Provide leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, from shaping technical strategies and software architecture to conducting testing across different levels.
  • Collaborate with teams company-wide, including partner engineering groups, product development, marketing, platform, and legal teams.
  • Devise and implement tools and procedures to expertly handle market data consumption, particularly in real-time scenarios.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in leveraging data to solve challenges, maintaining high standards for data quality and operational excellence similar to production code.
  • Act as a technical authority in your domain, offering guidance and sharing your knowledge with an engineering team.
  • Continuously elevate our engineering standards by enforcing and promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes.

You should have over 8 years of practical experience in Software Development within large-scale distributed systems, with a focus on a major programming language (such as Java, Python, Go, or equivalent) for the past 5-7 years, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.

  • Experience in developing and deploying containerized applications (e.g., Docker) in modern distributed environments like Kubernetes for production settings.
  • Proficiency in cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Databricks, or similar), particularly in constructing transactional systems (preferably in finance, banking, or e-commerce domains) to handle substantial, structured event data sources like tick data.
  • Familiarity with Real-Time data is highly advantageous.
  • Background in Agile development of distributed services, emphasizing robust software design, scalability, and security.
  • A BS degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, while an MS/PhD is considered a bonus.
