Primary Responsibilities1. Sales
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the designated territory, with a focus on expanding our client base and increasing revenue targeting both residential and commercial clients.
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads and develop targeted sales strategies.
- Utilize a consultative approach to understand clients' needs and tailor solutions that best fit their requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their laundry needs are met and exceeded.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing and terms of service agreements, striving to achieve winwin outcomes for both the client and the company to secure longterm partnerships.
- Regularly follow up with leads and maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
- Maintaining and updating sales records and reports.
- Collaborating with other sales staff and departments.
2. Delivery Driving
- Operate company delivery van safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations at all times.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of laundry supplies and equipment to clients using Routific software.
- Conduct pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in optimal working condition and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with loading and unloading laundry supplies and equipment at delivery sites, ensuring proper handling and care to prevent damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery van, including regular interior and exterior cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Additional Duties
- Community Networking
- Represent Loads of Fun Laundromat Inc at local community events, trade shows, and networking functions to increase brand visibility and generate leads while establishing connections within the community.
- Discover, investigate, and arrange participation in networking opportunities with nearby businesses and organizations to broaden our clientele base. Serve as a brand ambassador for Loads of Fun Laundromat Inc, embodying our values and commitment to excellence.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the community, including business owners, property managers, and community organizers.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional materials and initiatives to support sales and marketing efforts in the local market.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in a serviceoriented industry.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to drive a delivery van. A driving abstract will be required as a condition of employment if successfully chosen upon the completion of the hiring process, and on an annual basis to retain employment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, while also being a collaborative team player.
- Frequent walking/trips up and down the stairs and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with the Kingston and surrounding 100kms radius market and local community networks is an asset.
- As a condition of employment if successfully chosen upon the completion of the hiring process, the following information will be required:
- Valid Driver's License
- Declaration of any driving convictions in the past 3 years
- Declaration of any accidents in the past 6 years
- Proof of personal insurance policy including the name of the provider and the policy number, if applicable
- Clear Police Check with the Vulnerable Sector. Third party CPICs are not accepted.
