Job Information: Drainage Engineer position available at the City of Greater Sudbury in Canada. Seeking candidates with a Bachelor Degree. Openings in the Engineering field.

Main Responsibilities:
- Study, plan, design, and construct drainage facilities
- Prepare erosion planning schedules and monitor maintenance programs
- Develop and administer drainage program and capital budget
- Assist in Business Plan execution
- Prepare tenders/quotations and reports for drainage projects
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and recommend technological improvements
- Manage consultants for project development and construction
- Handle legal matters related to drainage projects
- Manage staff, provide technical support and training
- Handle drainage assessments and billing
- Investigate public drainage enquiries
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience
- Knowledge of drainage law and regulations
- Strong communication skills in English and preferably French
- Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
Language Skills:
- Excellent English communication skills
- French language skills are an asset
- Ability to think creatively and make sound decisions
