Job Summary


As a
Laboratory Clerk for our
Sample Processing team located in
Senneville, you will mainly be responsible for sample preparation, retrieving all specimens and transport them in a timely manner to the laboratory.

Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, primary
responsibilities include:

  • Prepares the required material for the study conduct according to information received and keep a functional inventory of the required material
  • Conduct the preparation and the distribution of biological samples
  • Perform the filing, archiving, transfer, or disposal of material
  • Printing and labelling of samples (blood, urine, etc.)
  • Retrieving and transportation of collected samples to the appropriate laboratory

Key Elements

qualifications, we will train you in the rest:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Passion for science
  • Good attention to details
  • Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
  • Understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism French and English is preferable

Role Specific Information:

  • Location: Senneville / Free parking / Free shuttle service from the Sainte-AnnedeBellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site
  • Salary: $16.25/hrs
  • Annual bonus based on performance
  • Premiums:
  • Weekends: $2.75/hrs
  • Overtime : Time and a half
  • Schedule: Weekdays, between Monday to Friday. Depending on the needs, you may have to do overtime on weekends
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, fulltime 37.5hrs per week
