THE ROLE

We are in search of a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. As an SDET collaborating with our expanding Platform team, your primary focus will be on constructing and managing a robust suite of automated tests. Here are a few examples of tasks you might undertake:


- Develop and manage software test cases and test suites for both new and existing features


- Identify, document, track, and resolve quality issues and defects


- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure adherence to acceptance criteria through both exploratory and scripted testing


- Encourage and lead our development team towards excellence by promoting stringent testing practices and efficient processes to enhance software quality

While prior experience in quality assurance within a modern web/mobile technology stack is necessary, familiarity with the dairy field is not obligatory. We will provide comprehensive insights into the industry, commencing with our Dairy 101 course. The realm is undoubtedly more intricate than perceived, which serves as the catalyst for our endeavors. We expect you to possess prior exposure to test automation frameworks and harbor a strong desire to contribute to the evolution of testing practices within our establishment.

WHAT ELSE


- 3+ years of comparable role experience


- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript


- Previous exposure to mobile testing and automation frameworks, preferred but not mandatory:


- Playwright


- Testim


- Proficient in documenting to ensure comprehensive test coverage


- Possess a collaborative and teamwork-oriented mindset
