JOB SUMMARY:


The Gas Fuser reports to Gas Superintendent to safely and accurately install, repair, test and perform tasks related to construction and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working 6 days a week, hours a day.
  • Fuse and install gas pipe in underground subdivisions.
  • Assist with four party underground utility installations.
  • Spotting for vehicles and equipment.
  • Site setup and cleanup.
  • Operate equipment and tools, as needed.
  • Other duties and labour tasks, as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Class
    5 Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift
    75lbs.

Outdoor construction experience.

  • Experience with fusing gas pipe.

Willing to learn gas fusing techniques.
-
Valid gas fusing ticket considered an asset.
-
Four party underground utility or telecommunication experience is an asset.
