What We Will Offer You:

  • A rate of pay of $16.00 per hour
  • A 20% off Hudson Employee Discount

- $300 Hiring Bonus For Joining Our Team (Hiring Bonuses are taxable income and will be paid out in two increments: the first payment is provided after the successful completion of 30 days and the second, final payment is provided upon completion of 90 days. Employees must be active at the time of each payment).

This Sales Associate Position Is For You, If You Would Enjoy:

  • Providing excellent customer service and maximizing sales by assisting in the daily operation of the stores
  • Working independently
The Team is counting on you as a Sales Associate to:

  • Work a schedule with open / very flexible availability with the ability to work any shift on weekdays and weekends
  • Work a fulltime schedule

Key Accountabilities:

  • Acknowledge and greet customers as they enter the store or approach the cash wrap.
  • Follow all company policies, cash handling policies, and special store loss prevention procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, and store management.
  • Effectively operate a cash register.
  • Know basic store layout to assist customers in their selection of products and be able to answer customer questions about the entire store.
  • Be knowledgeable and familiar with the surrounding businesses/offerings within the facility.
  • Communicate pricing, outofdate, and inventory issues with management.
  • Assist other store employees in maintaining security in stores.
  • Stock merchandise.
  • Inform management of any outofstock situations.
  • Help maintain a neat, clean, and organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, and straightening merchandise on store fixtures and displays.
  • Assist with book inventory process (i.e., ordering, receiving, returns).
  • Perform related work as assigned.
  • Be able to lift 40 pounds

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months of Retail Customer Service experience
  • Ability to interact with diverse personalities.
  • Proficiency in the operation of a cash register.
  • High degree of interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
