**Business Analyst**

- As part of the Civil PMO team, the main responsibility of the Business Analyst is to define a business intelligence (BI) strategy supporting the evolution of CAE's high technology and to manage data analysis, the various KPIs and governance reports for the management of the SPC and PMO Civil.
- This role has direct communication with senior leadership and will interface with various functions of the organization, including but not limited to: Program and Product Management, Finance, Sales, Engineering, Quality Assurance and IT.

**In addition, the Business Analyst will**
- Support the development of tools to visualize and monitor business performance.
- Review and analyze processes, tools, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Support the maintenance of project databases and ensure data integrity.

**Requirements**:

- Extensive knowledge and experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, Power BI (M, DAX, Model and Service).
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL programming.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Experience with data, code, scripting (Python/Java/SQL) and using Microsoft cloud services: Azure, Databrick, etc., an asset
- Extensive knowledge and experience of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel: pivot tables and VLOOKUP, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- University degree (or equivalent experience)
- PMP certification an asset
- Accounting designation an asset
- Easily adapts to changing priorities
- Great attention to detail
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of data

- Soutenir le développement d'outils pour donner une visualisation et aider à contrôler les performances de l'entreprise
- Examiner et analyser les processus, les outils et les mesures de performance pour identifier les domaines à améliorer.
- Soutenir la maintenance des bases de données du projet et assurer l'intégrité des données

**Exigences**
- Connaissance approfondie et expérience des outils tels que Microsoft Office, Power BI (M, DAX, Modèle et Service).
- Connaissance des bases de données relationnelles et programmation SQL.
- Excellente capacité d'analyse.
- Expérience avec les données, le code, en création de scripts (Python/Java/SQL) et avec l'utilisation de services infonuagiques Microsoft : Azure, Databrick, etc, un atout
- Connaissance approfondie et expérience de la suite Microsoft Office (Excel : tableaux croisés dynamiques et RECHERCHEV, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
