THE ROLE

As a Stores Clerk, you will greet and welcome customers, suppliers and visitors at the reception area. You will perform telephone reservations online and at the reception area. You will manage memberships and registrations to certain activities. You will provide advice and information regarding activities. You will ensure the cleanliness of the reception area. You will review the inventory of administrative materials and merchandise.

Also, you will be responsible for the rotation of merchandise. You will ensure the availability of updated documentation. You will distribute, receive, mark and store equipment. You will verify equipment returns, inspect equipment for safety and take any corrective measures. You will prepare documents pertaining to equipment loans.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

High school diploma AND some experience in a related field.

Experience

In a recreation, fitness facility or similar environment

In providing customer service

In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, email and Internet browsing

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

French Essential

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.

PSP: Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs. Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
