Manage all aspects of the recruitment life-cycle for entry level positions and mass recruitments. Provide support to Talent Acquisition Consultants for other recruitment initiatives.
Provide advice on recruitment policy, best practices and on legal/collective agreement obligations as it relates to recruitment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • For entry level positions and mass recruitments, manage all aspects of the fullcycle recruitment process for multiple roles.

Activities include but not limited to:

  • Establishing of recruitment timelines with hiring party;
  • Preparing job postings for internal and/or external posts;
  • Conducting telephone interviews;
  • Providing input on appropriate selection tools;
  • Providing feedback on recruitment process and/or results as required;
  • Supporting other recruitment initiatives as required.
  • Manage the data/metrics associated with the recruitment process to ensure all relevant data on applicants is available for analysis. Monitor the work of the supporting Talent Acquisition Coordinator to ensure recruitment tools are in place and timelines are on track.
  • Act as a coach/mentor on best practice recruitment techniques, current selection processes, talent acquisition tools & assessments and other WSIB Talent Acquisition processes to newer TAC staff and summer/coop students including coordinating daily workflow.

Job Requirements:

  • Postsecondary education in field of Human Resources Management
  • 2 years of experience in recruitment in a unionized environment
  • Working towards a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation
