There is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and independent post-secondary student to join the Development team as a
Development Intern.

The 4-month internship, starting in May 2023 offers hands-on experience and learning opportunities on a dynamic team in our
Vancouver office.

About you:

The duties of a Development Intern include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist Managers in several real estate development projects using outside consultants
- and supporting development staff

  • Assist in negotiations for land/zoning approvals with local approving authorities and for agreements with outside Consultants
  • Assist to complete land development projects on time and on budget
  • Maintain an ongoing working knowledge of local land acquisition markets
  • Maintain an indepth knowledge of current market prices in relevant municipalities
  • Participate in the sales and marketing initiatives throughout the development process
  • Support the Development team as necessary
  • Other projects assigned by Management

Education and Experience:

  • Any Development related experience as an asset
  • Enrolled in Postsecondary education
  • Diploma, Degree, or related field an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency with various computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Developed problemsolving ability.
  • Selfstarter, driven, with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
