Lexia Communications is presently hiring a full time Structured Cabling Technician/contractor in Niagara Falls, ON and nearby areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, maintenance & repair of copper and fiber equipment, products and services
  • Terminate, splice and test SM & MM fiber optic cables
  • Terminate fiber optic connectors
  • Install and terminate Cat 6 cabling & connectors
  • Install and dress cabling into data racks
  • Completion of assigned work to the highest of standards
  • Commitment to all company safety rules and guidelines
  • Ensure vehicle, test equipment and tools are kept safe and in good condition

Requirements:

  • Experience in Cable installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Experience in utilizing testing tools
  • Ability to work at heights comfortably on ladders
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Valid provincial driver's license and clean driver's abstract mandatory

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$24.00-$27.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
