THE ROLE

Commissionaires' NL provides security services and chauffeur duties to Government House. The role involves chauffeuring Their Honours to official functions and ensuring their personal safety and security during public duties.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Handling mail and courier packages for Their Honours and the Executive Office
  • Maintaining two Government Vehicles, ensuring they are clean and in optimal condition, and keeping detailed maintenance records
  • Weekly washing and cleaning of two Government House Vehicles
  • Following the Itinerary for Official Functions with an ADC accompanying you
  • Assisting the Residence Manager during household functions
  • Assisting visitors or callers at Government House when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum age of 19
  • Professionalism, reliability, and respect for the chain of command
  • Submission of a comprehensive resume
  • Completion of a one-day First Aid at the Emergency Level course
  • Effective communication in English
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean criminal record check

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

The ideal candidate must be professional, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Both physical and mental fitness are essential.
