L'analyste financier de production est un membre de l'équipe d'animation à part entière, responsable d'aider la compagnie à atteindre ses objectifs financiers dans la production de film d'animation. Il/elle doit être polyvalent(e) et pragmatique, avec un profond désir de développer sa compréhension en matière de gestion opérationnelle afin d'aider à identifier et à stimuler les indicateurs clés de l'entreprise. L'analyste doit être capable de développer de solides relations de travail avec le chef de production et les superviseurs et posséder d'excellentes compétences analytiques.

**Responsabilités**:

- Créer et administrer les rapports financiers de fin de période, les prévisions et les planifications qui constituent la source de la prise de décision (revenus par projet, rapports mensuels par projet)
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le chef de production et les superviseurs pour comprendre leurs activités, les aider à comprendre leurs indicateurs financiers et examiner leurs hypothèses en matière de suivi, de contrôle et de prévision des performances des projets.
- Analyser les prévisions de personnel et la productivité sur les projets et présenter les résultats dans les rapports de coûts pour la production et la direction.
- Participer aux appels d'offres pour les projets de grande envergure.
- Mettre à jour les modèles de budget sur une base mensuelle pour le Responsable de Production.
- Améliorer les processus et procédures existants et optimiser les systèmes et les outils afin de produire des données et des rapports pertinents et précis.
- Participer à la planification et à la préparation des budgets annuels et des prévisions mensuelles.
- Identifier, développer et analyser les indicateurs clés de performance (KPI)
- Maintenir à jour les dossiers projets avec tous les contrats originaux.
- Établir les factures conformément aux calendriers de paiement contractuels, signaler et communiquer avec les clients lorsque des paiements importants sont en suspens.
- Préparer toute information financière demandée par les clients

**Qualifications**:

- Au moins 3 ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire
- Expérience en comptabilité de projet (jeu vidéo, VFX ou post-production d'animation est un atout)
- Excellentes compétences en Excel (essentielles)
- Fortes compétences dans la gestion des priorités et des jalons
- Sens du service client
- Sens de l'analyse, rigueur et souci du détail
- Dynamisme, motivation et esprit d'équipe
- Proactif, indépendant et honnête
- Bonnes aptitudes interpersonnelles et de communication
- Maîtrise de l'anglais (essentiel), français (atout)Production Financial Analyst is a member of the Feature Animation team directly responsible for helping the Company to achieve its financial objectives in Animation production. He/she must be a well-rounded, hands-on financial analyst with a strong desire to develop an understanding of business operations and help identify and push key business drivers. Analyst must be able to develop strong working relationships with the Production Head & Supervisors and have strong analytical skills.

**Responsibilities**
- Create and manage financial reporting for period end, forecasts and plans that form the basis of decision making (revenue recognition for project, monthly project reports)
- Working closely with Head of Production and Supervisors to understand their business, help them understand their financial drivers, and challenge their assumptions in monitoring, controlling and forecasting project performance
- Analyse staff forecasting and productivity on shows, report findings in cost reports for Production and Management
- Participate in bids for large scale projects
- Update budget templates on a monthly basis for Head of Production.
- Improve existing processes and procedures and optimize the systems and tools in order to produce relevant and accurate data & reports
- Participate in planning and preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Identify, develop and analyze KPIs
- Maintain project file of all original contracts and change orders for all major shows
- Raise invoices in accordance with the contracted payment schedules, flag and communicate with clients when large payments are outstanding.
- Prepare any financial information requested by clients
- All other related tasks

**Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in project accounting (Video game, VFX or Animation post-production is an asset)
- Excellent Excel skills (essential)
- Strong at managing priorities and following up on milestones
- Client-oriented
- Analytic sense, rigorous and detail-oriented
- Dynamic, motivated and team-oriented
- Proactive, independent and transparent
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English (essential), basic French (asset)
