Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Marketing, the Marketing Specialist participates in the development of the corporate strategic marketing plan and prepares the detailed marketing calendar to deploy resources and schedule media and promotional activities to address business needs.
Develops and leads projects related to corporate marketing programs, campaigns and initiatives and maintains databases to track information and measure and monitor effectiveness.
Develops and prepares presentations for the Executive and Board, ensuring consistent corporate messaging and writes, edits and proof reads print and on-line materials for internal and external publication.
Assigns, checks and oversees the work of the department's graphic artist and coordinates print or multimedia materials production for corporate programs.
Ensures usage of corporate logos, trademarks and copyrights are according to relevant policies and procedures and that marketing deliverables meet corporate standards.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Requires a diploma in Marketing or Business Administration.
EXPERIENCE:
Requires three (3) years of experience in progressively senior marketing roles, including experience in the strategic development of corporate marketing plans and the development and execution of marketing programs, campaigns and initiatives.
A further period of up to six (6) months in the position is required to become familiar with TransLink's work environment and corporate culture.

A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.Work Schedule:
37.5 hours per week.
Work Designation:
Hybrid
This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.
Rate of Pay:
Salary $6,653 - $7,986 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Dental, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan.
