Your Day to Day As a DevOps Engineer you would be working on: A team of highly skilled engineers operating a Kubernetes powered internal developer platform. You apply software development principles to build and optimize the core components used by the development teams at GoTo to operate services in a rapidly changing cloud-centric and cloud native environment. As an engineer you are passionate by quality of the work and are able to achieve Continuous Delivery of improvements on very high traffic and critical production services such as ingress, api and Service Discovery. As part of your role, you will design solutions to solve customer problems in a team practicing agile where you can expect consensus driven team brainstorms, team work on delivering the code with a strong bias for using and contributing to Open Source software and frequent inspect & adapt cycles. As most platform team with a large users base and ecosystem of services to sustains, you will be involved in support and onCall duty. Maintaining high quality standards help keep the flow of onCall requests to a reasonable level that the team is proud of. What We're Looking For As a DevOps Engineer, your background will look like: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or another relevant degree 5+ years of experience in a similar role working on a software development team Experience with Public Clouds (AWS/EKS, OCI/OKE) Experience with Kubernetes and Containerization (e.g., CRI-O, Containerd) Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform, Argo, Helm) *** Working language for positions in Quebec Knowledge of French is required for permanent positions in Quebec, to enable the incumbent to communicate as needed with colleagues, partners and suppliers in Quebec. French-language courses are offered to any incumbent of a permanent position in Quebec who does not have a good knowledge of French. *** Other language requirements Fluency in English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, customers and partners (or suppliers) who are mostly located outside Quebec. En tant que Développeur Devops vous travaillerez au sien d'une équipe de développeurs expérimentée qui opèrentuneplateforme pour les développeurs de GoTopropulsée par Kubernetes. Vousappliquerez les principles de développementlogiciel pour construire et optimiser les composantsprincipaux de la platformeutilisée par les équipes de développement pour opérerleurs services dans un ecosystème cloud enconstanteévolution. En tant que Développeur, vousêtespassionné par le travail de haute qualité qui permetle Déploiementen Continue d'améliorations sur des services critiques à très haut traffic comme Ingress, API et Service Discovery. Votrerôlecomprend le design de solution pourrépondres aux demandes des clients dansune équipe qui utilise des pratiques agilescomme les brainstorms d'équipeportés par le consensus, la livraison de code en équipe avec un fort biais pour utiliser et contribuer aux logiciels Open Source ainsi que des cycles d'inspection & adaptation fréquents. Comme la plupart des équipes de plateforme avec une large base d'usagers et un richeécosystème de services, vousserezimpliqué dans les tâches de support et de onCall. Le maintien de hauts standards de qualitéest la clé pour garderune charge de gestion de support raisonnabledon'tl'équipeestfier.

En tant que Développeur Devops votre expérience ressemblera à

Baccalauréat en mathématiques, statistiques, informatique ou autre diplôme pertinent 5+ années d'expérience dans un rôle similaire au sein d'une équipe de développement logiciel Expérience avec les Cloud publics (AWS/EKS, OCI/OKE) Expérience avec Kubernetes et les conteneurs (e.g., CRI-O, Containerd, docker) Expérience pratique avec les concepts d'Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Argo, Helm)

***Langue de travail pour les postes situés au Québec

La connaissance du français est requise pour les postes situés en permanence au Québec afin que le titulaire puisse communiquer au besoin avec ses collègues, les partenaires et les fournisseurs au Québec. Une formation en français est offerte à tout titulaire d'un poste permanent au Québec qui ne possède pas une bonne connaissance du français.

La maîtrise de l'anglais est requise pour ce poste afin de communiquer avec les collègues, les clients et les partenaires (ou les fournisseurs) qui sont majoritairement situés à l'extérieur du Québec. Pour les postes en recherche et développement, il est également nécessaire de comprendre la documentation technique et scientifique de notre industrie disponible majoritairement en anglais.
