The Role:
We are looking to add an intermediate IT System Administrator team member that will be embedded at client sites for varying durations.
While not involved directly with client deployments you will be counted on to lead and support various client projects and work with our internal team to support our client base across North America.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Analyze and solve client technical problems with hardware/servers (level 23) and software in a timely and accurate manner.
- Counted on to configure/set up new server and storage appliances.
- Troubleshoot system and network outages, diagnosing and solving hardware and/or software issues.
- Evaluate, test, and deploy all software, firmware, and hardware upgrades to client server infrastructure.
- Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software.
- Collaborate extensively with peers and management to resolve issues while actively contributing to a growing knowledge network that improves the effectiveness of our team and the information available to our employees.
- Recommend technological solutions (hardware and software) to resolve problems or improve practices while minimizing costs and respecting client and/or internal standards.
Your Qualifications:
- Postsecondary training in Computer Science or a related field.
- Positive, team oriented and unrelenting focus on delivering amazing customer service experiences.
- 3+ years' experience working with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Azure, VMware vSphere and dependent services.
- 3+ years' experience as a Systems Administrator, Support Administrator, or similar role in a Microsoft technology environment.
- Knowledge of Desktop/Workstation and Server hardware configuration
- Knowledge of SSO methodologies (SAML, LDAPS, AD)
- Solid understanding of programming/scripting
- Powershell, Python, Bash, etc
- Working technical knowledge of Networking, Security, Active Directory, Windows Server 2016+, SQL
- Veeam Backup, Enterprise level storage
- Ability to automate and collect data with Windows PowerShell or scripting languages.
- Enthusiasm for continual learning with a passion for learning new technology.
- Strong communications, organizational, and problemsolving skills.
- Highly self motivated and detail oriented
- Experience working in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.
