RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for guest arrival and departure experience.
Providing courteous, professional and attentive guest service at all times.
Following up with guest requests or concerns efficiently.
Establishing a personal rapport with the guest in order to learn about their needs and expectations, find opportunities to connect and "wow".
Assisting with guest room deliveries.
Indepth knowledge of Fredericton and surrounding area, to offer recommendations, make bookings
Responsible for general upkeep of public areas including the hotel lobbies and front entrance.
Strong and effective communication/teamwork with all other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Conference Services, Accounting, etc.).
Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicant with Hospitality/Tourism Diploma would be an asset
Knowledge of Fredericton history and tourism
Able to speak both official languages is an asset
Required to lift and carry guest luggage
Dynamic, enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and is able to multita
Professional in presentation and demeanor
Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
Previously demonstrated commitment to exceeding guests' expectations at all times
Must be computer literate with experience in Windows, Internet
Enjoys working in a team environment
Must be able to work variable shifts including weekends, holidays and evenings

Salary:
$17.50 per hour
