Missions and Responsibilities

The main objective and purpose of this position is to conduct data analysis to improve the Supply Chain at ALC, benchmarking the overall performance of the Supply Chain; with a clear focus on our national network operations.

In addition, this role will also be involved in the development and continuous improvement of the supply chain, training efforts & the overall management of the Supply Chain.


KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Analysis:

Through the information available in the Oracle Supply Chain modules database and others, prepares trending analysis of key performance indicators (KPI's), at a national level, and identifies areas for corrective action.

Heavily involved in the overall management of dead/slow inventory and works closely with Marketing on promotions.

Continuous Improvement:
Collaboratively identifies areas with-in the Supply Chain for corrective action/Improvement.

Develops solutions aligning with the overall Supply Chain Strategy as set out by the Supply Chain Manager and coordinates those solutions with the appropriate stakeholders within the company.


Supply Chain Management:
Reviews instructions as published within the Air Liquide Management System (ALMS) as required and prepares up-dates. Ensures that the instructions are conforming to the Air Liquide Group Bluebook and Air Liquide Canada policies and guidelines. Communicates changes to the appropriate personnel as required.

Supply Chain Training:
Works with the training team to develop training modules for inclusion in the Constellation training system. Organizes and delivers training sessions as required.

Quality/Safety:
Manages and reports the national quality indicators.

Acts as the department representative on the coordination of internal and external audits, and follows up on timely implementation of related corrective actions; manages non-conformity report files for the department.

Coordinates Supply Chain operational review and follows up on related action plans. Respects all safety rules.

System Support:
Provides help and support for Supply Chain users as required, liaise with the IT team.

Competencies and Profile

TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Diploma: Bachelor degree in purchasing or supply chain or 5yrs in an analyst type role
  • Training: Oracle, Supply Chain, Inventory management. Power BI and DAX is an asset
  • Knowledge: Bilingualism, oral and written communication skills, excellent analytical skills, good capacity of presenting documentation, ability to clearly enunciate the ideas, concepts and action items. Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. Background of Oracle systems.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
5 plus years of experience in purchasing or in an analyst type role. Oracle systems & Power BI knowledge is an important asset.
