Job Title: Project Manager at Alberta New Home Warranty

Job Description:

  • You are a cooperative team player, working harmoniously with colleagues to ensure everyone is on the same page, ready to provide the best service to clients and partners.
  • You are a self-driven individual, paying attention to details, and proficient in working independently. You proactively identify tasks that need to be addressed and ensure smooth project operations.
  • You possess a deep understanding of residential construction practices, uphold quality standards, are skilled in using Microsoft Office tools, and excel in managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • You excel in both written and verbal communication, showcasing professionalism and attention to detail.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure timely completion of multifamily projects within allocated budget and according to design specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with Alberta New Home Warranty quality standards.
  • Produce accurate quantity take-offs.
  • Create, oversee, and update project cost budgets.
  • Keep projects on track, proactively identify and address potential issues with senior management.
  • Implement value engineering strategies during the design phase.
  • Monitor construction progress closely.
  • Approve construction progress reports and subcontractor invoices.
  • Review and analyze project design change directives and change orders.
  • Manage statutory lien holdbacks and deficiency holdbacks.
  • Monitor budgets and provide status reports.
  • Ensure quality assurance throughout projects.
  • Administer property-related tasks.
