Roll Off Truck Driver

Job Overview:
Our Shelburne Iron and Metal location is actively seeking a reliable and experienced Roll Off Driver to join our team.
Duties:
- Safely operate rolloff trucks to transport and deliver containers to designated locations
- Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Secure containers properly on the truck using chains or straps
- Load and unload bins
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery and pickup of bins
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickup and delivery times
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery tickets and vehicle inspection reports
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Skills:
- Valid license with a clean driving record (5 years experience preferred)
- Experience operating rolloff trucks or other commercial vehicles preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Tech savviness
